Personal Care
When you or a loved one needs in-home care, Bromilow can help. Whatever the requirement, we take pride in matching our carers and our services to suit the needs and wishes of our clients
For the elderly, infirm or disabled, we provide assistance in showering, toileting and getting in and out of bed - as well as respite care, companionship, medication monitoring and community access (including transport to appointments or help to do the shopping).
Bromilow's care staff are able to provide valuable social contact to people who may be lonely or socially isolated.
We work closely with other support organisations - as well as Sunshine Coast and Brisbane Hospitals - to provide sensitive, detailed, in-home care with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
Importantly, we are not an agency. Our carers are our own people. Everyone who works for Bromilow is an employee, selected for their professional experience and personal qualities. Bromilow's staff are trained in our own special way to provide care that goes much deeper than simply assisting.
Community Aged Care Packages (CACP's) through the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing are available to assist many elderly people. Bromilow is proud to be one of the larger CACP Approved Providers on the Sunshine Coast.
In-home respite care is available through Bromilow's involvement in the National Respite for Carers Program (NRCP.) NRCP services assist the carers of people with dementia and the carers of people who are frail aged.
Bromilow is also an Approved Provider of Veterans' Home Care services for the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
Personal care assistance is also available through Bromilow's Home and Community Care (HACC) program. The HACC program is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments.
